Friend, it's Gary again. I'm about to log off for the evening, but I just took another look at ActBlue, and we're still $2,181 short of our critical end-of-month goal.

I know that you hear about a lot of goals like this one. But I promise that I wouldn't be emailing you so late if this wasn't incredibly important.

You see, the GOP has it easy: They can call up a couple of megadonors and have those ultra-wealthy extremists all but bankroll their entire campaigns through dark money and shady super PACs.

But Democrats are fighting for a better government that works for families – not for whoever can write the biggest check. That means we rely on support from people like you to power our movement. But building grassroots resources that can go up against the GOP's deep-pocketed megadonors takes time.

Every single goal that we hit from now to Election Day is a step toward victory and a blue Senate this November. Falling short of our first end-of-month goal of 2024 would be a major stumble on that journey – one that we simply cannot afford in an election year like this one.

So I'm personally asking one last time: If you care about protecting our democracy, our rights, and our values, will you rush $5 to help me save our Senate majority and stop the GOP from retaking power?
