First: We kicked off this election year hearing from supporters who completed our 2024 Election Year Issues Survey. A large number of folks chose Electing a Democratic President in November as one of their top concerns.

Then: The Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary this month confirmed that Trump continues to dominate the GOP. Now that Ron DeSantis has dropped out and endorsed Trump, it's looking extremely likely that he'll be the Republican nominee for president.

Now: Our nation is now on a path toward a return to Trumpism and all its dangers for this country, especially for vulnerable immigrant communities.

We planned for this, folks. Our strategy calls for us to boost our operations right now — when dark-money groups, ultra-wealthy donors, and billion-dollar corporations are increasing spending to push Trump to the top of the ticket and back into the White House.

Now that we know what’s next, we must ensure we can sustain NILC-IJF’s work to defeat Trump and MAGA extremism in Washington. We fought hard and beat Trump once; we absolutely can do it again if we work together.
