Everything we've accomplished is on the line. Following a resignation last month, the State House is tied 101-101 — which means that whichever party wins the upcoming special election in February will hold the House majority.

As Speaker of the Pennsylvania House, I’ve been proud to champion progressive legislation and fight for change to help all Pennsylvanians — not just the wealthy and well-connected at the top.
But if Republicans win the February 13 special election, they’ll have control of both chambers of the General Assembly, bring our progress to a halt, and work to reverse the hard work House Democrats have done.
