We believe that Alex is the best person to bring people-powered leadership back to Western and Central Massachusetts. And as he takes care of his duties to Holyoke as mayor, we are taking care of our duties to this movement.
For the safety of our team, volunteers, and greater communities, we've been mobilizing digitally. Yesterday we had our first volunteer leadership call to engage with our leading organizers on how they can best continue to educate our communities on the importance of this race.
As we continue to plan out more virtual events, we've been carefully budgeting for technical equipment in addition to campaign overhead costs overall. And friend, we're at a budget shortfall.
While we've paused in-person campaign activity, we still need to engage with voters across the district. And that means we need to start investing in digital advertising. Unfortunately, advertising isn't cheap.
Our district is poised to elect the next people-focused leader we need in Congress to start moving this country toward progress. Effective leadership in Congress will ensure that the needs of our district are heard loud and clear over the voices of establishment politics.
