As a young girl, I started swimming every day after school.

(I chose swimming because it was the one sport where my mom could drop off all eight of us kids at once!)

Well, I stuck with it, and eventually became a distance swimmer. My dedication to the sport taught me real-world lessons about grit, determination, and perseverance – lessons that stick with me to this day.

Those lessons guided me through three ultra-competitive, closely-watched races here in Nevada’s Third Congressional District. And so far, this time around is no different.

Maybe it’s the athlete in me, but I’m not afraid of a little competition.

And that's good, because this race is getting more competitive every day. I have multiple Republican opponents vying to defeat me, and they’d all love to see us miss our first End-of-Month goal of 2024 tonight.
