John, "Annie's" story didn't come without hardship and a ton of emotions.

Hi John,

I hope your day is going well! I'm writing to you today to remind you of an incredible truth: your support can mean everything to a mom facing an unexpected pregnancy.

You see, “Annie” was in distress.

She and her verbally abusive boyfriend had just broken up, and she was pregnant. Frustrated with herself, she wondered how she could be so reckless.

Alone with an unexpected pregnancy in the United States while her family was back in her home country, she had no one to turn to. Though Annie was very upset about the breakup at the onset of her pregnancy , deep down she wanted to keep her baby. But thoughts of raising her baby alone made her feel that abortion was her only option.

What we have found by working with moms experiencing an unexpected pregnancy is that 76% say that they would prefer to parent if their circumstances were different.

Annie’s true desire was to parent her child, but her difficult circumstances made it feel that parenting would be impossible. But because of you and so many other rescuers, she found Human Coalition before it was too late.
