John,
I’m running for Congress because people all across this country are struggling, including many families here in Suffolk County.
Nick LaLota has spent his first year in Congress pandering to the extremists in his party. He has done nothing to address chronic issues like the high cost of housing, choosing instead to support sham impeachment inquiries and voting against reproductive freedoms.
I have dedicated my life – as an educator, a scientist, an advocate, and a mom – to solving problems and improving people’s lives. In Congress, I will work diligently with any faithful legislative partner to make sure Long Island is a safe and affordable place to work and raise a family.
Thanks to our many generous supporters, I am thrilled to tell you that we are ending January ahead of our original fundraising goal. This positions our campaign so we can defeat Nick LaLota, flip NY-01, and win back the House majority for Democrats in November.
Any donations we receive today will make sure we start February off with a strong foundation as we build up our team and get our campaign office up and running. Here’s a link if you are able to give: [link removed] [[link removed]]
With my thanks,
Nancy
