Accessible, affordable health care for all has never been more important. As our country responds to a global public health crisis, it’s clear now more than ever before that health care saves lives -- and we need to do everything in our power to protect it.

But today, on the 10th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act becoming law, our health care is still under attack.

A lawsuit sitting in the Supreme Court’s basket could dismantle the landmark legislation that provided coverage for more than 20 million Americans and banned insurance companies from discriminating against those with pre-existing conditions. Even more, if the ACA is overturned, there is no alternative in place to provide affordable insurance for our country’s most vulnerable.

So, even 10 years after we took a major step toward universal coverage, we still need to fight to protect the ACA.
