Sorry for the late email — we’re closing in on our very first deadline of 2024, and it’s critical that we come out of the gate swinging.

This is no joke: 2024 is set to be one of the most pivotal elections of our lifetime, and a big part of ensuring that we continue to make the change our communities want to see is through ballot measures.

Not only are ballot measures a cornerstone of American democracy, they are one of the most democratic tools our nation has to offer. In the face of partisan gridlock, we’ve been able to use ballot measures to enact progress for over 18 million working people across the country.

But as of late, extremist legislators have started to attack direct democracy — introducing legislation that would make it harder to pass important measures at the ballot box.

This November, we’re poised to see dozens of attempts by extremist officials to restrict your voting rights. We need to make sure we have the necessary resources to fight back against these attacks.

Finishing out this first month strong is one surefire way to fuel our fight to preserve our democracy. If you’re with us, will you chip in whatever you can afford before midnight tonight to help us power-up our fight in 2024?
