Hi there,

It’s been a challenging month. Across this country, families are adapting to a rapidly changing reality as society collectively steps up to halt the spread of COVID-19. People everywhere are coming together in the name of shared sacrifice to do what is necessary.

Our President, on the other hand, has demonstrated a lack of leadership and a penchant for racist rhetoric while misleading us about a public health crisis:

- He repeatedly refers to coronavirus as the “Chinese virus” and the “foreign virus.”
- He claimed the virus “will just go away” and we “will be just fine.”
- He prevented U.S. hospitals from using World Health Organization tests while falsely claiming that the U.S. had enough tests for anyone who needs one.
- He then said “I don’t take responsibility at all” for the resulting testing delays.

This is the same president that has forced families apart at the border, caged immigrant children, and called Nazis “very fine people” and Mexicans “rapists.” Sadly, it seems that President Trump is using this public health crisis as an excuse to further spread xenophobia. This situation is evolving constantly, but we need to know:
