Dear Neighbor, I hope you are well! I wanted to take this opportunity to update you on several happenings in the district as well as Harrisburg.
As always, I hope you find this informative and useful.

On Monday, I joined two of my colleagues, state Reps. Tarik Khan and Ben Waxman, to circulate a new piece of legislation titled Returning Mail-In Ballots at Polling Places. This bill would allow a voter to deliver their completed mail-in ballot in person to their polling place on Election Day. Currently, voters can only return completed mail-in ballots in person to their county board of elections office, and not to their polling place. This bill would ease the restriction and allow the voter to return their mail-in ballot to their polling place – often closer in distance than their county election office.
Next week, I will back in Harrisburg to attend Gov. Josh Shapiro’s 2024-25 budget address. Delivered before the entire General Assembly, the governor will discuss his budget priorities from Education to Transportation and provide us a starting point for our budget hearings, which will commence at the end of February. In next week’s email I will include highlights from the governors address and my thoughts on it.
