Before January is over, I wanted to reach out to you to explain just how important winning in November is.

We are at a crossroads. The election in November will decide if we continue building on the progress we've accomplished since 2020 or if a regressive MAGA agenda turns back the clock on our rights and liberties as Americans.

Speaker Mike Johnson and his allies are working overtime to buy their way into holding their slim House majority. At the same time, Donald Trump is leading the Republican caucus — another Trump presidency combined with a MAGA-controlled House would be dangerous for our democracy.

I know we can win up and down the ballot. I know when people move together in the name of compassion, justice, and equity, they can accomplish anything. I’m fully ready to take back the House majority and restore faith in Congress. Delivering a strong performance for our first end-of-month deadline is the first step toward getting there.
