John,

I'm no stranger to the type of work needed to win a campaign.

It’s not uncommon for teachers to clock in extra hours each day—a typical teacher works about 54 hours a week! Everything from answering emails to curriculum planning to grading papers really adds up.

Most of the time, I don't even notice the time is passing. That's because serving others, especially my junior high students, means focusing on their needs and perspectives—there isn't time to bring personal concerns over time spent or "lost" in the work!

During this campaign, I've seen that the same mentality takes over. When I'm connecting with community members, I'm reminded of the service and commitment needed to properly represent our interests in the Central Valley.

People like my opponent, Kevin McCarthy’s hand-picked successor, won’t be bringing this mentality to Congress.

Fighting for better representation for our Central Valley community means building up the resources to stand up to serious political insiders. Our End of Month Fundraising Deadline is at MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, and we still need to raise $5,144 to reach our goal.

I'm counting on folks like you to help me bring a teacher’s work ethic to Washington, D.C.

John, we don’t have long to go before the March primary or our Special Election—can you help us reach our first goal of the year with a donation today?

In unity,
