Dear Friend, 

You may have read in my recent letters that Catholic Action for Faith and Family is poised to have our most significant year since our founding. Why?

Without a doubt, the Church is experiencing a convergence of threats unlike we have ever known. Confusion and error arise within the Mystical Body of Christ when the faithful perceive confusion coming from the See of Peter.

As you know, Catholic Action’s main mission is to activate both the clergy and the laity to live up to their high callings and to work together, as living members of the Mystical Body of Christ, for the promotion and defense of our Catholic Faith.

Another key component of our mission is to equip the Catholic laity to support our faithful priests in their mission to stand up for the Faith, which is none other than the truth of Christ. This is especially crucial in a year when the U.S. and many other nations are set to hold democratic elections.

On that score, Catholic Action is targeting scandal (and scandalmongers) by providing support for our faithful priests who will be called upon to defend the Holy Eucharist from politicians and other public figures who falsely claim to be Catholic yet publicly promote legislation contrary to Catholic moral teachings. 

With the example our patron, Cardinal Raymond Burke, we are working to strengthen our priests to uphold the Church’s Eucharistic discipline, while at the same time exercising extreme charity in their priestly concern for souls.

So, faithful friend, stay tuned and be ready to get involved! Our name is Catholic Action - and we intend to live that mission to the fullest this year! It is indeed a unique time and we can never let up; in fact, as an apostolic organization, we must escalate our work and go on the offensive for the glory of God. 

But to make this happen, we NEED YOUR HELP!
