Hi John!
Is it just me, or does January always feel like six months in one? As I scroll through my social feed, I see many friends reflecting the same sentiments. After
researching, I found that the perceived “longest month” of the year can be attributed to a combination of things ranging from post-holiday blues, colder, darker days, and the pursuit of ALL of those New Year’s resolutions we are determined to complete.
With this phenomenon all figured out, let's all take a chill pill and enjoy the gradual progress of life rather than the imaginary race against time — because we have time! Last year, I put a lot of emphasis on self-reflection, but this year is all about our relationship with taking our time, enjoying the ebbs and flows of life, and making deliberate strides toward our goals.
Now, let’s take a look at some of the things that have brought me joy throughout January:
✅
St. Paul, Minnesota’s new city council making HISTORY! ✅ Megan Thee Stallion (that’s it, that's the tweet!) ✅ My School Votes Ambassador, Sierra Pape, making Rough Draft’s 20 Under 20 for 2024.
