Grassroots campaigns always seem to get underestimated here in LA. Big money has a grip on power, and because they campaign by throwing cash at the voters, they think any progressive movement that doesn’t do the same doesn’t stand a chance.

But the last couple years we’ve been proving them wrong. We’ve been electing progressive challengers and unseating corrupt incumbents on the City Council, and the people are rising up to show we care about reliable, community-centered representation in our city.

That’s why I’m asking you one more time to contribute before tonight’s end-of-month deadline.

We have a path to victory in this open seat, and we’ll only get there with your help. So can you pitch in now and make sure this grassroots campaign has the best shot possible at shocking the nation?

Our local, progressive electeds need federal support—a representative pushing for housing for all, universal healthcare, environmental justice, and quality tuition-free public education.

In Congress I commit not just to be a champion for the transgender and LGBTQIA+ community, but for all working people and those optimistic about what our nation can do if we come together to lift each other up.
