I am reaching out before our first end-of-month fundraising deadline of 2024 comes to a close at midnight tonight.
I’m extremely grateful to everyone who has supported me in my journey in Congress thus far and am particularly grateful to those who have already chipped into my reelection campaign. Your support helps reinforce that our fight for working families and accountability in Washington is meaningful.
As we approach our first fundraising deadline of the election year, our campaign faces critical fundraising goals that will help us cross the finish line in our Primary in early March.
In my year in Congress, I’ve seen the many risks our democracy faces at the hands of MAGA extremists. But throughout my term, I have made it crystal clear that I will not back down from the fight extremists pose. From expelling serial liar George Santos from Congress to exposing MAGA conspiracy theorists like Marjorie Taylor Green for her role in perpetuating government shutdowns, I have continued to fight to protect the fabric of our democracy.
But the extreme and dangerous agenda that MAGA Republicans continue to push could destroy our economy and take away our hard-fought freedoms.
These lawmakers — who were elected to work for the betterment of Americans — are the very people who vilify immigrants who come to this country seeking the American dream, and oppose “big government” but are doing whatever they can to limit LGBTQ+ rights and abortion rights. These are the same people who are willing to let our government shut down if it means they will not get an unjustified impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
We cannot let them succeed. It’s time we take back the People’s House.
As long as I am in Congress, I promise to continue to fight to protect the American people, regardless of immigration status, sexuality, or socioeconomic status. But I cannot continue this fight alone, I need you by my side.
As we approach the end of the month at midnight, I am confident we will show the pundits — and naysayers — the power of this grassroots coalition as long as I have you by my side. Because when we show the world how many folks are on our team, we show them that the change Americans demand is forthcoming.
