Reflecting on our wins and recommitting to racial equity

John,
In 2023, Common Future has continued to build power from within—bolstering our vision to see an economy where Black, Indigenous, and other people of color thrive.
There's a lot to celebrate from 2023. We invested $1 million in community-owned real estate and affordable rental initiatives, deployed over $800,000 in loans with our partners using relationship-based underwriting methods, built a powerful network of BIPOC women-led organizations with a $500,000 pool of grant dollars for strengthening economic development solutions in their communities, and so much more. We're rededicating ourselves to our mission and the future we're building despite the backlash—and in fact, exactly because of it. ([link removed])

We invite you, not only to join us as we reflect, but to build with us as we recommit to our shared vision for an equitable economy and future for all.
With love and gratitude,
—The Common Future Team
