Our first monthly fundraising deadline of the election is coming up in just a few hours, so I wanted to come to you personally with a quick update before time runs out — and see if you could chip in any amount to support Greg at this critical moment.

I just crunched the numbers — and as of 1 PM, we’re still coming up $2,762 short of our can’t-miss goal.

So I’ll tell you what Greg and I talked about in our morning finance meeting: Meeting this goal is critical to executing our strategy to win this race.

It might seem too early in the year to be worried about our monthly deadlines, but every dollar we raise now will help turn out more voters in November.

They’ll help us air more ads and contact more Southwest Ohioans in the months leading up to Election Day.

And they’ll help us stay on track to compete with the flood of cash that the Republicans and their mega donors will be pouring into this race.

So here’s the bottom line: We just can’t afford to fall short now — and I need your help to close the gap.
