A pastor is being criminally charged for opening his church doors to those in need. It’s not happening in China or another repressive country.
It’s happening RIGHT HERE in America, in the small town of Bryan, Ohio. And everyone in the country is talking about this case.
Pastor Chris Avell opened the doors of Dad’s Place Church 24/7 to help anyone in his community. The only problem: the city handed him almost two dozen criminal charges.
We’re standing up for Pastor Chris and suing the city in federal court so he can continue to minister to the most vulnerable.
Pastor Chris isn’t our only client seeking justice. Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, just had a big hearing before the Oregon Court of Appeals yesterday.
A victory in the Klein’s case would impact all small business owners so they can run their business according to their beliefs.
