Hi John, it's Emily Busch, and I love that my house is the hang-out spot for my son and his friends.

And when I'm talking about my campaign, I try to make one thing as clear as possible: they are my why.

In November 2021, my son survived a mass shooting at his school. And while we've taken measures as a state to prevent this from happening in other communities, John James has refused to do anything more than offer up his thoughts and prayers – all while gun groups continued to line his pockets.

As a mom, I couldn't let this go. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got right to work.

I'm running a people-first campaign to be a strong voice for our families in Congress and finally put our safety over someone else's political gain.
