It’s safe to say 2024 is off to a wild start—and our race will be no different.

I’m lucky to have fiercely loyal supporters on the ground back at home and in D.C. From what I’ve heard from those listening ears, some folks have a bullseye on my seat, and we all know why.

They’re coming after me because I stood up to former House speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Fortunately, I’m no stranger to these twisted games. You know by now that I have no problem swimming upstream if it’s the right thing to do, and I can rest easy every night knowing that we needed a fresh start on the leadership front.

The truth is, I have no regrets, and I know the folks in East Tennessee agree.

So, now we know! Bad guys will be coming out of the woodwork to challenge us and undo all the progress we’ve made to strengthen conservative values in East Tennessee—but we can’t let them. The last thing we need is some wishy-washy representative who caves to Democrats’ every last demand.
