Trump and his campaign attacked those parents because they have no conception of honor. But they also did it because they are afraid

John, this is Paul Eaton. Retired Major General with the U.S. Army, and a Gold Star Family Member.

My father was killed in action in the Vietnam War. My children will never meet him.

A few years ago I was absolutely disgusted to hear Trump’s comments insulting Americans who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Calling them “suckers” and “losers.”

VoteVets ran an ad over the weekend, making sure that Americans know what Trump thinks of our honored dead.

And on cue, the Trump campaign attacked that ad, attacked this organization — and worst of all, they attacked the Gold Star Parents who appeared in that ad.

Called them “vile” and “shills.”

Trump and his campaign attacked those parents because they have no conception of honor. But they also did it because they are afraid — afraid that people might learn what he really thinks of the men and women who serve in uniform.

They’re afraid of us. For good reason.

So today I’m asking you to make a donation to VoteVets so we can help keep up the pressure on Trump. He’s asked for it — let's give it to him.
