This month has shown us just how vulnerable our democracy is. From Republican legislators trying to pass a 14-week abortion ban in Wisconsin to Trump winning in New Hampshire and Iowa and claiming that he has “complete and total presidential immunity” even if he ordered SEAL Team Six to kill his political opponents, it's crystal clear that our democracy is in danger.

While Democrats continue to legislate and fight for the betterment of our country, Republicans keep trying to move our country toward fascism. Extremists are making a mockery of our democracy, and we cannot let it persist.

With Primary Elections underway and the General Election approaching, it has become clear that this election may be one of the most important of our lifetimes. Because it will determine the future of our democracy and whether America will yield to MAGA extremism.

Simply put, our democracy is on the ballot.

But we have the power, together, to protect fundamental rights and our democracy at the ballot box. Collectively, we CAN flip the Wisconsin State Legislature and the People’s House blue, and keep control of the Senate and White House.

We have already endorsed and supported several candidates who will help make that a reality. But to continue supporting them, we are going to need a lot of resources and hit our fundraising goal at midnight tonight.

So I am asking:

Can you please contribute whatever you can afford to the Long Run before our January fundraising deadline at midnight? We need your help to continue supporting Democrats up and down the ballot.
