When people think of Canadians, they think of ambitious forward-thinkers.

After an incredible end to 2023, our Liberal team has rolled up our sleeves to get back to work for you, your families, and your communities.

This month, I’ve been across the country talking to Canadians about their priorities for a better future – and I know that you want real action to get more homes built, bring down the price of groceries, reduce health care waitlists, and fight climate change. And that’s exactly what we’re focused on as we return to Parliament this week to keep delivering on our plan for a strong middle class and an economy that works for all Canadians.

Since 2015, we’ve cut taxes for the middle class and raised them on the wealthiest 1%. We’ve helped lift more than 650,000 kids out of poverty with the Canada Child Benefit. We boosted OAS and GIS for seniors by 10% and enhanced the Canada Pension Plan. We’ve built more homes and helped more than 500,000 young Canadians save for their first home through the tax-free First Home Savings Account. And we’ve delivered $10-a-day child care and dental care to lower the cost of living for families.

Our plan is focused on making life better for you, friend, but Pierre Poilievre and his Conservatives have different priorities. He’s trying to make deep cuts that would gut the middle class and import far-right American politics here to Canada – and it’s going to take all of us working together to stop him from taking Canada backward.

As a grassroots movement, we rely on supporters like you to help keep Canada moving forward. Whether connecting with neighbours on phones and doorsteps, sharing our positive message with your friends and family online, putting your hand up to volunteer, or chipping in what you can to help us reach our crucial online fundraising goals, you are at the heart of our movement.
