As we close out the first month of the election year, instead of hitting you with some BS fundraising email with a fake deadline, I wanted to just take a moment to share with you why I’m in this race.

I’m running for Congress, not for personal gain or media coverage. I’m in this fight because this is a pivotal moment for Arizona and America. So much is on the line. The future of the American Dream, of our democracy, and of our very planet is all in the hands of the decisions made in Congress.

When I think of all that is at stake in this moment and that the future of my two children is in the hands of extremists like our current Congressperson, David Schweikert, I can’t just sit on the sidelines.

As the grandson of four Holocaust survivors and son of refugees from communism, democracy and freedom aren’t abstract ideas to me, they’ve always been real. And it’s what’s inspired me my entire career to work to protect our fragile democracy, expand opportunity and fairness, and meet critical issues, like the climate crisis, head-on.

In Congress, I’ll continue to work to better the lives of those in my community and beyond. I’ll be ready on day one to deliver for you because I know that we don’t have a moment to waste when it comes to building an economy that works for all, fighting the climate crisis, and protecting democracy and freedom.

This fight hasn’t been easy, and it won’t get any easier as we get further into 2024, but I know that this team has what it takes to help us win. We’ve already broken the all-time Congressional fundraising record in Arizona, and together we can keep up the momentum to ensure we defeat David Schweikert, flipping this battleground district blue.
