That's right-wing Florida governor and GOP presidential also-ran Ron DeSantis calling for Ilhan to be expelled from Congress, denaturalized, and deported on Twitter yesterday.

It wasn't enough for Ron to just embarrass himself in Iowa and New Hampshire this month, so now he's taken to attacking Ilhan online hoping to rally whatever's left of his right-wing base.

In all seriousness, this isn't the first time Republicans have launched dangerous, racist, xenophobic, and bigoted attacks against Ilhan — and it certainly won't be the last.

With groups like AIPAC and an army of right-wing super PACs ready to spend MILLIONS of dollars against us in this campaign, we need to be ready to fight back against their lies and slander every single time.

That includes today. So please — we're asking:

Will you rush a contribution to stand with Ilhan, especially today? Do it before tonight's end-of-month fundraising deadline and together we'll build a campaign that can take on the right wing's attacks and win.

Ilhan will never apologize for being a proud Somali, one of the first two Muslim women to serve in Congress, or for fighting every single day to represent her community and the working people of this country.

Like Ilhan said after our victory last cycle — in Minnesota we don't just welcome refugees, we send them back to Congress.
