2024 is the election of our lifetimes. Our country and our democracy are at stake.

Trump is picking up victories in state after state as he solidifies his place as the Republican party’s presidential nominee. The MAGA-led House has only been focused on satisfying their base with culture wars and baseless impeachment inquiries.

And, just this month we learned that Trump ally, Roger Stone, was threatening me and other members of Congress with talks of assassination as early as 2020.

Trump and his allies continue to make it clear that they are using authoritarian tactics to gain power and even the so-called “moderate Republicans” are just going right along with it.

I am standing up to the rise in authoritarianism and extremism at every turn, but I need your help to fight back. We’re $3,298 short of our first big fundraising goal of 2024 and it’s crucial I stay on track to ensure I have the resources I need to defend myself and my fellow Democrats as we head into this incredibly crucial and challenging election. Also, as you may know, New York is re-drawing our congressional districts again and that may mean I’ll need to introduce myself to new voters. I’m not taking anything for granted – for myself or my other fellow New York Democrats.

The path to taking back the House majority runs right through New York and we must be prepared for whatever comes our way.
