As corporations continue to drive inflation for their own profits, unchecked, and continue to enjoy major tax loopholes to boost their profits, they also appear to shun consumer health and safety for, you guessed it, their own profits.

One example is Johnson & Johnson, a company that knowingly concealed links between their product and increased risks of cancer. They will now pay $700 million to settle health hazard claims.

This instance spotlights a systemic challenge within the corporate world – the need for greater transparency and accountability in the marketing of consumer products. Johnson & Johnson knowingly marketing a harmful product not only raises concerns about the potential health risks associated with everyday products but also questions the effectiveness of current regulatory measures in safeguarding public health.

A future where consumer health is not compromised, where transparency is the norm, and where corporations are held to the highest standards of accountability is possible. Corporations like Johnson & Johnson, and others, must be transparent about their products' safety and take immediate corrective actions when risks are identified.

Big corporations must be held accountable for the safety of their products, and we need policies that prioritize consumer health and safety with stringent regulations and oversight from both corporations and regulatory bodies.
