On Monday, I explained how we have a Republican running as a Democrat to beat us in the Democratic primary.

That's pretty odd. But this race gets even weirder.

In addition to the primary challenge from a Republican, Dennis Kucinich is working to launch an independent bid in the race for Ohio's 7th district.

It's puzzling why Kucinich would feel the need to enter this race. This race is getting national attention all of a sudden, and it feels out of nowhere.

So why is this happening?
