Dear Friend,

It’s been a busy January back in session representing our neighbors in Albany, and already my colleagues and I have been hard at work fighting for our communities.

  • We passed landmark legislation to strengthen our democracy on the first day, including bills to fight voter suppression and limit foreign influence in our elections.
  • The Senate passed legislation advancing reproductive rights and abortion access, as well as bills to provide reproductive equity and advance maternal health.
  • And, during her State of the State address, Governor Hochul identified my bills to protect our children on social media as a 2024 priority.

This is just the beginning of what we can accomplish together this year! >>Can you help me start 2024 out strong and continue our work by contributing today?

REMINDER: Tonight at the Center for Brooklyn History, I’ll join Attorney General Letisha James and nonprofit pioneer Larissa May for a conversation moderated by NYT Opinion columnist Michelle Goldberg about how we can shield our children from the harms of social media. You can RSVP here.

I hope you will join us for the discussion – and that you will consider contributing today to support our movement for a safer, healthier New York for all of us.

In Solidarity,

Andrew
