This isn’t the email we planned to send today, but after reviewing our January fundraising numbers, I knew I needed to reach out if we want a chance of reaching tomorrow’s end-of-month goal.

Our fundraising has taken a slow but steady decline over the last few months, and with the election season ramping up, we can’t afford to miss a single goal that we set.

We shouldn’t kiss all hope goodbye, but with two self-funded Republican opponents looking to take this seat, we need to reach this goal so we can make smart investments early enough to protect this seat.
