Friend: Tomorrow's my first end-of-month deadline of the year, so I'm about to ask you to chip in any amount you can toward my $50,000 goal.

But before I do, there are three things I need you to know:

* Our Democratic Senate majority is razor-thin, and we're defending two-thirds of the seats up for election this November.


* A number of my colleagues are defending some of the most competitive seats nationwide, in states Trump won by a landslide in 2020.


* With our Democratic majority on the line, so are critical policies like the right to abortion, lowering health care costs, a national paid leave program, and much more.


And if we don't have the resources to defend our majority and keep up the fight for working families, we give the Senate back to Mitch McConnell.

So I'm working to make sure Democrats can keep our majority and our agenda intact. But it won't make a difference if I miss important deadlines like the one tomorrow at midnight – so please, friend, will you chip in $5 or more, or anything, to help me close the gap and save our thin Blue majority?
