We’re facing our first end-of-month fundraising deadline of the year tomorrow, and it couldn’t fall at a more critical time for New Jersey and for our fight to protect this seat.

First, Donald Trump announced that he’ll be making a “heavy play” for New Jersey, pledging to bring his hate-filled rallies, extremist allies, and vitriolic speeches here. Now that he’s the unambiguous frontrunner in the GOP presidential primary, he’s even more emboldened than before.

Then, a MAGA extremist opponent jumped in the race for NJ-11, making it clear that Republicans simply won’t give up on trying to unseat me and put a stop to our progress.

Now, we just learned that House Speaker Johnson — who is on the record supporting a nationwide abortion ban — launched a joint fundraising committee to fund extremist Republicans right here in New Jersey as part of his all-out attempt to hold on to his GOP majority.

To put it simply, the warning signs are flashing bright red. Donald Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, and extremist Republicans of all stripes have set their sights on New Jersey and on this seat, and we must respond by showing our grassroots strength.
