Hi John,
I wanted to reach out to you about my husband, Hank.
He’s been working incredibly hard lately, laser-focused on reforming the Supreme Court, especially with all their recent ethics problems and with all that's at stake for our democracy. But he’s also intent to represent Georgians with every fiber of his being and to make sure he’s doing all he can to help defeat Donald Trump this year.
You and I can’t go to DC and rally votes in Congress for Hank’s court reform bills. We can’t represent the people of Georgia’s fourth district. Some things Hank has to do on his own. He was elected to do them, and he takes his duty to his constituents seriously.
But we can help relieve some of the pressure of the campaign by making a contribution so that Hank can stay focused on the work ahead of him.
We still have nearly $2,000 to go to hit Hank's fundraising goal for the end of January.
That’s why I’m sending you this email. I’m asking you to help Hank out by pitching in before the end of the month and supporting a true progressive leader. What do you say? Can you make a contribution now?
Gratefully yours,
Mereda
