I wanted to make sure you saw the email below about a powerful and fun way to make your voice heard and, importantly, to help move important public policy like affordable childcare forward: Decorating Valentines to tell Congress, “Don’t go breaking our hearts! Pass policies that families (and our bank accounts) LOVE!”
This is a fast, fun, high impact way to be heard. A MomsRising volunteer from Arizona told us, “I had so much FUN with the project, and really love the work that you are doing for communities, families, and children.”
What’s happening? Right now, Congress is deciding the funding for policies we love like affordable childcare, nutrition programs like WIC, protection for immigrants, and an expanded Child Tax Credit. It’s time for us to remind them that families across the nation are paying attention to what they are doing.
