Slowing the spread of coronavirus will require a nationwide commitment to social distancing and self-isolation that many people simply cannot afford.

Without access to sick days, paid family leave or job security, these Americans are being forced to navigate this crisis alone.

My colleagues and I in the Senate are working hard to quickly pass legislation that will help alleviate the burden imposed on working people — but in the meantime, so many families need direct relief NOW.
