The fight to protect safe and accessible abortion care is reaching the Supreme Court again, folks —

In March, SCOTUS will hear a case presented by the Biden administration and the manufacturer of mifepristone that, if passed, would reverse the regressive ruling from a federal appeals court that significantly reduced access to this medication, even in states where abortion is fully legal.

This is huge. Nearly half of all abortions are performed using mifepristone, and securing access through the Supreme Court would allow people, regardless of their state’s abortion laws, to be able to order the pill. Here’s a visual of how many states this case would impact:

Because we have Democratic leaders representing the interests of the people, we have a chance at protecting abortion access in a post-Roe America. This is exactly why we need to support Democrats running for office at every level, especially in Congress.
