Hey John,
I know you are getting a lot of emails right now! January 31st is the first fundraising reporting deadline of the 2024 election cycle. The next report won't be until early May, and then it is the May Democratic Primary... so this deadline is the big one that everyone will be watching.
A lot is going on in DeKalb County right now. There is a race for CEO, several Commissioners are leaving to run for that seat, meaning that 6 of the 7 Commissioners will be on the ballot this May.
Change is happening in DeKalb!
This is our moment to continue our movement for progressive and compassionate policies in DeKalb, and this election will shape the next 2-4 years in profound ways. I intend to keep pushing on the County Commission, in my role as Super Commissioner, representing exactly one-half of the entire County (350,000+ residents!).
I'm asking you to support me before midnight on January 31st. If you can't join us for the official campaign kick-off, please donate at the link below. Your support means the world to me - it is an investment in the future of our community and the leadership we can showcase to the rest of Georgia. |
Thank you again for everything and please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for our DeKalb! --- Forwarded Message --- |
John,
As you may have already seen, I announced my re-election to the DeKalb County Commission last month! |
To kick things off we're having a fundraiser and grassroots supporter event NEXT Wednesday from 6 - 7:30 PM at Inner Voice Brewing in Decatur. |
Thank you, Commissioner Ted Terry |
Ted is the former Mayor of Clarkston, Georgia - the most ethnically diverse square mile in America. He was elected as the first and only millennial member of the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners in November, 2020.
As DeKalb County Commissioner, Ted continues to push for progressive changes. He is deeply involved in advancing environmental sustainability, improving public infrastructure, advocating for affordable housing, and promoting economic development in the county. Ted is also a passionate advocate for social justice, working tirelessly to ensure equal opportunities for all residents, regardless of their race, religion, or socio-economic status.
Ted and his wife Andrea reside in DeKalb.
