Alexandria campaigned on expanding Medicare in order to make prescriptions more affordable. Now, Medicare has the power to negotiate prescription drugs — and insulin is capped at $35/ month.
Alexandria’s Green New Deal was called pie-in-the-sky, but just this week, the extraordinary power of the climate movement won a pause on liquified gas export facilities. In the last six months, our partners in the labor movement have seen historic contract wins for the Teamsters and United Auto Workers.
Every dollar, no matter the amount, shows widespread support for our progressive priorities from Pennsylvania and beyond.
