The outbreak of Coronavirus has already caused a substantial and detrimental impact on small businesses, families, and countless industries that cannot function in the world of working from home. This is putting a financial strain on people across Oregon and the country - and access to food is often a primary concern.
Every year, more than 860,000 people rely on the Oregon Food Bank to get by. And now with the COVID-19 pandemic, this number is expected to be significantly higher in 2020. Many other nutritional safety nets, like community centers, have closed or limited service in an effort to halt the spread of the virus.
Please join me in supporting the Oregon Food Bank as they work tirelessly to meet the growing challenges in our community.
Together, we will #EmergeStronger.
