Throughout history, Americans have used the values enshrined in our Constitution to win rights that had been historically denied to them.
Whether it was women’s suffrage, the civil rights movement, or marriage equality, American history is full of successful activism designed to win rights, not restrict them.
But that all changed in 2016 when Donald Trump was elected. Trump proudly led the charge to strip away a fundamental right that generations of Americans fought so hard to secure: the right to bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom.
The Dobbs decision was a punch to the gut, and its consequences have been brutal and deadly.
But here’s the thing we have to remember: Even across party lines, a majority of Americans support safe and legal abortion access.
And every single time abortion rights have been put to a vote since Dobbs, the American people have sided with reproductive freedom – even in red states like Kansas and Ohio and Kentucky.
Despite that, Republicans have insisted on putting barbaric abortion bans front and center in their platforms in 2024, and it’s up to us to show them what a mistake that is.
Donald Trump, the House GOP, and my extreme opponent ALL support a national abortion ban – and I’m more fired up than ever to defeat them in November.
With only one day left until our first monthly fundraising deadline of 2024, I have to ask: Will you chip in a few dollars to support my reelection campaign? [[link removed]]

Reproductive rights are a kitchen table issue – and they’re an issue Americans are largely united on when you look at the data. If the GOP wants to defy the will of the American people, that’s their choice.
But if the last few elections have shown us anything, it's that there is no going quietly when it comes to our bodies and freedoms.
We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us over the next 10 months, but I’m confident with this team’s dedication and hard work, we’re going to make a real difference.
Thanks for your support.
