A lot has been said about me recently. That’s why I want you to hear this from me.
When I was growing up, my parents always reminded my brothers, my sister, and me how blessed we are to live in America.
My parents gave up everything to move to this country. They came to America legally over 50 years ago – to a country that was strong, and proud, and full of opportunity.
My mom started a small business in our living room. As my family’s business grew, it moved to a proper storefront, and my mom made sure to have a massive American flag painted on our ceiling. She wanted everyone to know how much she loved this country.
I started doing the books at my mom's store when I was just 13. After graduating with an accounting degree and working in the corporate world, I came back to the family store. I saw how hard it was to make a dollar and how easy it was for the government to take it away. When I mentioned my frustrations to my mom, she said: “Don’t complain. Do something about it.”
So I did.
I ran for the state legislature.
It wasn’t easy. I was running against a 30-year incumbent who resorted to every trick in the book. But that wasn’t going to stop me. I shared my message and asked every person I met to share my message with their friends and family too.
Together, we fueled a grassroots campaign, took on the status quo, and won. Then, I immediately got to work for the people of my state.
It was an honor to serve the people as a state legislator. I fought against the status quo and stood up for the people of my district. When I fought for government transparency by pushing to make sure important votes were on the record, my colleagues retaliated. They stripped me of my committees. So I decided to run for governor.
When I ran for governor, people didn’t know who I was. I was polling in fourth place, with limited time until Election Day. I was the least funded and least known GOP candidate. But together, we defied expectations and won. Then, we made a difference in South Carolina by cutting taxes, creating thousands of jobs, and revitalizing our economy.
Every race I’ve run, I’ve been lucky to have good people by my side who have worked tirelessly to fight for what’s right.
Your donation will not only help continue the momentum, but it will also play a vital role in helping fund our campaign ahead of the South Carolina primary in just 25 days.
Friend, throughout my life, I've been shaking up the status quo. I’m hoping to do the same as your next President. But in order to get there, I need your help – starting right now.
Your contribution is what keeps this movement alive and thriving, so thank you for standing with me.
My name is Nikki Haley. I want to tell you a bit about myself and why I’m running for President of the United States.
I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
