Early last year, I joined my friends and fellow Republican U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota to offer a constitutional amendment to prohibit the physical desecration of the American flag.

With all the challenges we face in this era of Biden Democrat mismanagement and failure, it might seem like just a symbolic effort, but Old Glory is one of the most visible and enduring symbols of our nation’s great history, our struggle for independence and the continued belief in liberty and justice for all, and it deserves to be protected.  

Senator Cramer and I -- like all patriotic Americans -- honor and respect those who have sacrificed their lives in defense of the freedoms and values the flag represents and we all hold dear, and in a time when those values are increasingly under threat from the Radical Left, it’s more important than ever to cherish and fight for them.  

That’s why I’m contacting you today, Friend -- because Kevin Cramer needs all of our help to keep up the fight in the Senate -- and I hope I can count on you to join in to support his reelection bid today.
