*2022 Service Annual Survey Data Now Available*

How Are Service Industries Trending [ [link removed] ]

The U.S. Census Bureau today released new data tables [ [link removed] ] from the 2022 Service Annual Survey (SAS) [ [link removed] ]. The SAS table package provides statistics [ [link removed] ] on revenue, payroll, sources of revenue, expenses, exports, inventory, revenue from electronic sources and other?selected industry-specific data for service industries.

The data are accompanied by supporting materials including?a data visualization [ [link removed] ] that provides 2020, 2021 and 2022 revenue statistics for all sectors covered by the SAS. A summary brief presenting revenue and expense estimates at the sector level and select subsector or industry group levels is scheduled to be released in February 2024. Data are based on the 2012 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).?
