Big endorsement news this week: Houston City Controller Chris Hollins endorsed Lizzie! Chris is a visionary leader who is committed to ensuring a bright future for our community and our country. He has been a part of this team since 2018, and we are so excited to have this strong show of support!

We also announced the endorsements of Houston METRO Chair Sanjay Ramabhadran , Former Houston Mayor Bill White , and Former Houston Mayor Pro Tem Ellen Cohen during this last week.
And on Saturday, Lizzie earned the endorsement of the Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus —the oldest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization in the South—for the 2024 primary election. Lizzie is proud to be an ally and partner with the dynamic LGBTQ+ community in #TX07 and beyond, and proud to have the endorsement of this important organization.

Again this week, #TeamLizzie was out and about in the district, connecting with voters and volunteers at club meetings and at the doors, and starting this critical election year strong.
And Lizzie was thrilled to welcome her good friend Colin Allred back to Houston for a visit this week, as he travels the state in his campaign to become our next U.S. Senator. We were glad to welcome him to the HQ and connect with some all-star supporters.
