1. WATCH: Drones deliver lifesaving supplies across Ghana
In Ghana, distance is too often a barrier to health care. Americares partners are using drones to rapidly deliver urgently needed medicine donated by Americares to remote regions. Watch Mrs. Donkor tell the emotional story of how a drone delivered medicine for her sick baby within thirty minutes, saving her family a trip to the hospital. Americares has been providing assistance to Ghana since 1991, delivering over $100 million in medicine and medical supplies to support people in need.

4. Country Spotlight: Honduras
Communities in Honduras have faced prolonged droughts, severe flooding due to hurricanes and coastal erosion and inundation due to climate change. Nearly 80% of Hondurans do not have access to quality health care. But there’s hope thanks to your support: Americares has been working in the country since 1986. In partnership with the Honduran Order of Malta, we have provided access to medicine for more than 80 health and social service institutions throughout the country with a focus on diabetes treatment.
