major deadline of 2024, John. I just ran the most recent totals and right now we’re falling $8,914 short of our goal, so I have to ask:

Our team has grown to
thousands of educators across the country, all working together to end gun violence in
our schools. We’ve conducted trainings –
for educators by educators – and met with policymakers to address the threat of gun violence in the classroom.
But here is the truth: Right now, the gun lobby is raising millions to make it
easier to access guns. That means we also need our own fundraising to be stronger than ever – to build on the trainings, programs and momentum of our team.
We have a choice, John: We can either sit back and let the gun lobby win OR we rise up now to hit this critical goal – because
enough is enough.
