Hi John,
I'm running for Congress in the most competitive congressional district in Maryland (and one of the most competitive in the nation). Not just any Democrat can run for and win this seat; we need a candidate whose background will both appeal to a wide range of voters and make them an effective member of Congress.
Here’s a little bit about what I bring to this race - and what I’ll bring to Congress:
- As a mental health care professional, I'm passionate about a topic that affects a growing number of Marylanders and Americans.

My experience and commitment stand in sharp contrast to the leading Republican candidates. They have boasted about their opposition to abortion care, and they've spread election-denying propaganda.
The good news? The Republican agenda has lost at the voting booth several times in recent years - including in 2022, when Republicans failed to win this seat.
The bad news? They're trying again, and they're raising a lot of money to flip this seat red.
We can't let that happen. Democrats must nominate and elect a candidate who can win this election and hit the ground running as soon as the next Congress convenes.
