Friends, I’ve always drawn strength during times of adversity from the power of community and love.

I’m writing today to check in with everyone on this incredible team, and share with you an easy way to help make a difference as our nation grapples with this unprecedented health emergency. These are trying times for our country and for the entire world, but I’m lifted knowing that we are in this together and by seeing examples everywhere of people helping others during this crisis.

One of the most critical ways we can make a difference is by caring for the most vulnerable among us.

Those who have fallen ill or who are supporting members of their families who have. Those who are working overtime in our hospitals, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Those who are temporarily or for the foreseeable future economically impacted by social distancing measures we’re all relying on. All of whom could use our help right now.

As this crisis continues, an important priority is making sure that no one goes hungry. Food banks across the country are seeing an increase in demand, but a decrease in food supplies. At the moment, food insecurity is a serious problem in many communities -- and one of the best ways to help our neighbors is by supporting local food banks.

Time and again we have proven to ourselves and each other that the power of love can unite us even in our darkest days. Concerts, sporting events, schools, and more are being canceled and closed. Kindness, decency, generosity, grace, and love must never be.

My advice is this: look out for each other, check in on your friends, family, and neighbors. Remember that we are all in this with each other, and that’s exactly how we’ll meet this challenge: together.

Stay safe out there.

Cory
